This is definitely in the trance hall of fame 👑 Delerium first released 'Silence' featuring Sarah McLachlan in 1999, but it was Tiësto's "In Search of Sunrise" remix in 2000 that gave the track a completely different life in electronic dance music. Sarah McLachlan's vocal sitting over a much bigger trance production turned it into a massive club and festival tune throughout the early 2000s and introduced the song to an entirely new audience. It went on to become one of the tracks most closely associated with that era of trance, arriving at exactly the moment Tiësto's own career was going global. More than two decades later it is still one of the first records mentioned when people talk about what made trance so important in the 2000s. Who remembers hearing this one back then? 👇 @Tiësto
