These are bits that my husband and I have been doing for the past week that we would like to share with the class. Number one is asking "the normal way?" about things that definitely dont need that clarification. Like if someone says, "I'm going to go to bed now," you say, "Oh, like in the normal way?" Yeah. This works really well if someone asks you if you know someone, like, "Do you know Brian?" Oh, like in the normal way? Like in the normal way? Or, oh yeah. And this work, this is really universal, which we've really been liking. You could say, "I'm going to make dinner." You say, "Oh, like the normal kind?" It's really helpful. Pretty plug and play. Yeah. You can just run that. Okay, number two is whenever someone asks us if we've seen like their keys or their phone or something that they misplaced. Yeah. We act like there's something in our mouth and go, "mmhm." I can't find my keys, have you seen them? "mmhm." It's not funny to the person who lost their keys, but it's so good to do. Okay, number three is instead of asking to rock paper scissor for something, like if you both don't want to do something, we say, "Do you want to patty cake for it?" And then go through the motion of patty cake, which solves nothing and does nobody wins patty cake. There's no winner in patty cake. It helps the most, we found, when you do it in front of other people, because it kind of delays everyone's plan. They just have to watch you play patty cake with your. We've been getting better at patty cake. Roll it, pat it, and mark it with a J. Yeah, no, what's going on for dinner? Anyways. All right, lastly, number four is whenever one of us, whichever one of us is like making dinner, the other person that's helping always addresses them as "yes chef" whenever they ask for anything. And this is only funny, um, when you're not the person cooking. Yeah. Because when you're the person cooking, it's really annoying when you're the person cooking and you're like, "Can you hand me that spatula?" Yes chef. It helps if you do like a little bow and say it like very reverently, you know what I mean? Yes chef. When Josh does this sometimes, I get annoyed and I say, "Please don't call me that," and he says, "Yes chef." It's never funny when you're the cook, but it's really funny when you're not the cook. And those are our bits of the week. Thank you.
