Our next stop is Under the Moon in Bordentown, NJ! This is one of my favorite restaurants we’ve ever been to, and they celebrated their 20th anniversary this past March! Tucked inside of a 200 year-old building, this beautiful restaurant is decorated top to bottom with stunning antiques and art, where every inch of the space has something interesting to look at! The owner even hand-painted every single tile on the ceiling and put an unbelievable amount of work into this incredible space! Aside from the breathtaking atmosphere, the food is simply outstanding! One of their biggest draws is their incredible desserts with a pastry case filled to the brim with decadent homemade sweets! But you can’t go wrong with anything here! They have an amazing deal for a gourmet Wagyu beef burger, and homemade fudge brownie with vanilla mascarpone for just $20 every Monday, along with a Local’s Night 3 courses for $30 special happening every Wednesday! It’s so important to them to be community oriented and accessible to everyone! There is truly so much love and passion poured into every bite here, from the burgers, to their tapas tower, the dreamy Brussel sprouts, outstanding chicken cutlet, and so much more! Everything is labeled for gluten sensitivity, and there are several options on the menu if you are gluten-free! The town of Bordentown is so unbelievably charming, filled with rich history and so many other wonderful small businesses, you could spend an entire day here just in the downtown area alone! This town is an absolute dream in the fall, resembling a storybook village!
