Our next stop is Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, NJ! This state park is the most natural and untouched beach in the state! Spanning 10 miles of preserved barrier island in Ocean County, it features towering dunes, maritime forests, and miles of undeveloped shoreline completely free of boardwalks or commercial buildings! You can explore over 3,000 acres of coastal dunes and spot wildlife like ospreys and foxes. NJ Residents: $6 (Weekdays) | $10 (Weekends & Holidays) per vehicle Non-Residents: $12 (Weekdays) | $20 (Weekends & Holidays) per vehicle The main large lot is where you can find restrooms, showers both indoor and outdoor, and a pavilion to grab classic boardwalk treats like cheese fries and ice cream for a classic Jersey Shore summer day! The further down you go, the more rural and isolated it gets! The more rural spots are reserved for fisherman, and anyone with the permit to bring a car onto the beach! Please note that anyone who requires handicap access, I would only recommend the larger lots, as anything further than that requires a long and bumpy walk through the brush to get to the untouched beaches. To keep the park as preserved and safe as possible, they close the main entrance down as soon as they hit capacity for the day, so I would also recommend getting in as early as you can, especially on the weekends! This is such a special place that has been a favorite in my family my entire life. My family and I are extreme nature lovers, and being able to see a beach in its most natural state is such a rare and incredible experience. If you are a nature lover yourself, this is an absolute must visit for your Jersey Shore summer itinerary.💌 #nj #jerseyshore #newjersey #thingstodo #fyp
