When I wrote down 5.0 GPA at the beginning of the year, I wasn’t just writing a number. I was writing a promise to myself. 🥹 I wanted to look back someday and tell my children, my students, and everyone I inspire, “Yes, when I was in university, I had a level where I recorded a straight 5.0.” 🤍 I didn’t get the 5.0 this time. I got 4.83—with just one B out of 6 courses, all 3-unit courses. And honestly? I’m incredibly proud of myself. 🥹❤️ Because this result represents the nights I pushed through, the moments I wanted to give up, the countless hours I studied, and the decision to keep going even when it wasn’t easy. I prayed for it. I worked for it. I went for it. And even though I didn’t get exactly what I wrote down, God still gave me something worth celebrating. This is not the end of the dream. I still believe I’ll have that 5.0. I still believe I’ll graduate with First Class. And when that day comes, I’ll look back at moments like this and remember that every step counted.
