If you want a 5.0 GPA, don’t enter 100L with the mindset of “I’ll become serious later.” Start from your very first lecture. 📚 Attend your classes. Lectures give you an idea of what your lecturer considers important. Don’t depend completely on borrowed notes. 🧠 Understand, don’t cram. After studying a topic, close your book and explain it in your own words. If you can’t explain it, you probably don’t understand it yet. 🔁 Revise consistently. Don’t wait until exam week. A little revision every day prevents that overwhelming feeling when exams are approaching. 📝 Use past questions. After studying, test yourself with past questions. This helps you identify your weak areas and become familiar with how questions are asked. ⏰ Create a routine. You don’t need to read 10 hours every day. You need a study routine you can actually maintain throughout the semester. 🎯 Take every course seriously. Don’t ignore GSTs or courses you consider “easy.” Every course can affect your GPA. 👥 Be intentional about your circle. Find friends who encourage you to attend classes, study and improve. Your environment can affect your consistency. 🙏 Pray and put in the work. Ask God for wisdom, understanding and grace, but combine your prayers with preparation. And please, don’t wait until 200L or 300L before you start caring about your CGPA. Build the right habits in 100L, protect your GPA from your first semester, and give yourself a strong foundation for the rest of university. ❤️📚 #becomingisaac #studytok #howtostudy #motivation #academicsuccess
