Why it worked

The video uses a common relatable scenario for new parents (choosing car seats) and a subtle "reveal" of a preferred, likely more premium, product (Nuna) after initially mentioning a more budget-friendly option (Graco at Costco). The humor and the visual appeal of the Nuna seats likely contributed to engagement.

Summary

The video starts with a person questioning whether to buy Graco car seats from Costco. The scene then shifts to a woman presenting two Nuna car seats, implying they are a preferred alternative to Graco.

Structure

1Questioning Graco car seats from Costco
2Presenting Nuna car seats as an alternative
3Rejecting the Graco option

Product placement

Costco: (a) it APPEARS - a store name, removing it would not change what happens in the video. Graco: (a) it APPEARS - a brand name of car seats, removing it would not change what happens in the video. Nuna: (a) it ACTS - a brand name of car seats, the interface is operated (the car seats are shown and discussed), a visible result comes from it (the car seats are presented as an option), removing it would change what happens in the video.
