how to figure out what you want in life, how to figure out what you want in life and actually get it. So, I will be using the metaphor of the fig tree by Sylvia Plath. So basically, each of us has a fig tree, and each of the figs on this tree is a possible scenario or path we can take in life. For instance, you can become an artist or a financial analyst. You can have kids or you can stay child free. It's actually a very good practice to draw your fig tree and really take time to think about what choices and what possible do you have in the future. Then for each of the figs, ask yourself three questions. If no one knew, would I want it? What do I want from it? Which one was now? For example, if you want to move to Paris, what do you want? Culture, freedom. The last question would be, which of the figs are right and which could still stay on the tree a little bit longer. And part. The hardest part, based on your questions, select three to five figs which you want to focus on for the nearest future. You will never be able to touch the others. You have to focus in something to succeed. It's difficult to choose, but if you sit in this uncertainty, the chances are that you will probably lose most of the opportunities, the good ones you have. And selected, you just focus on those figs. Yourself, what do I need to do scenarios realised? So that's how I do it myself. And I do it regularly, I think every year because the figs do change, you have to revise it. However, the approach just crazy to do everything which I can do at this moment. Especially in your 20s and 30s, so front overwhelming. So that's why we choose, select, prioritise. We figs still of. So helps. Of trees.
