that's right I'm that girl. I'm the one who went to Westminster for my undergraduate and LSE for my post graduate and I'm gonna tell you the difference between the two universities I know you're all already assuming you went to LSE that's such a really good university it's so much better than Westminster and you know what I'm gonna agree with you LSE is very much a is better than Westminster academically however let's rewind I'm gonna be really honest with you here when I say I enjoyed Westminster hundred times more than I did at LSE and I was talking to a friend about this who like my school friend and I was just saying because Westminster had a lot of international opportunities that was funded and I think this also plays a part in Westminster being one of the top universities in the UK to support social mobility so they accept they have one of the highest percentages of students from a working class background and I think that's why there was a lot of funded opportunities of course I had a lot of international students as well around 40 to 50% of Westminster's population were international but the home student population a lot of us were from just those average backgrounds not nothing too crazy so we had a lot of international opportunities there and there was just a lot to get involved with and I feel like the student culture was much more fitted to me it was so I'd say at LSE maybe because I was just a master student at the European Institute it was a hell lot of drinking culture let's go tans let's go George the 4th let's go here let's go there it wasn't my vibe it really wasn't my vibe unfortunately and it's never going to be my vibe but I do have to say LSE did top it when it came to career opportunities and networking opportunities I met John Major I met Doctor Alex Stubb I saw Sanna Marin I met Rachel Reeves like all those things so I didn't meet Rachel Rees I just went to her talk all those things I doubt Westminster would could have done I feel with Unio Westminster being a former polytechnic compared to LSE which is a very known institution those were my main I'd say those were the main differences of those two unis so if you are going to Westminster in September make the best out of it I get so many DM saying oh you went to Westminster how did you struggle and sometimes I did I struggled with the environment in terms of students my classmates did not care in the discussion seminars no one wanted to speak but literally you chosen a political degree doesn't make sense love does not make sense but make the best out of it because you know what I'm so grateful to have gone there and I'm still connected to Uni of Westminster so I go to some events there when they do for alumni people and really close with my professor from undergrad he still writes my references to this day but lse. I'm not gonna lie LSE did add an edge to my application I'm getting through more stages than I would have have if I was a third year undergraduate student at Westminster
