Hook
some expenses that I had during my first and second year of university that I think that you can avoid to make your student loan last a lot longer. Because of course, hindsight is a beautiful thing and in the moment I didn't actually realize that this was draining my account. Having a daily coffee or matcha, your choice between your lectures does add up. So maybe do it once or twice when you first get that but don't make it a habit and just make your own at home. On a related note is to buy lunch on campus. Actually, this actually ended up costing me so much in the long run and it wasn't until like year middle of first year when I actually started meal prepping and realized that that was a bad way to save money. Money. Sticking to the lack of organization. Don't be me and buy all takeaways or meal deals because you think that they're really convenient, but there's a reason why they're expensive or will add up in the long run. Subscriptions that I forgot that I subscribed up to account. So cancel them. Like Amazon Prime if you don't actually use it anymore or anything like streaming platforms, etcetera. Just make sure you know what's coming out each month. Not actually me. The one that actually ended up spending me the most money was Ubers. I lived in a city, so I understand that the price is going to be quite inflated anyway, and because of their pricing model, they love to take advantage of the fact that if you do order one at 2 or 3 AM, they will overcharge you, apparently. That battery also tends to count that into how much you're paying. So it is kind of sneaky of them, but it's something to just keep in mind that the taxis will probably add up to the cost in the long run. So before you account on that night out, just maybe account that into the club ticket money. So yeah.
