UPDATE: WE KNOW HAVE UNTIL DECEMBER 11th For home growers, this matters because more than 20 states now allow adults to legally grow this plant at home, yet the new federal language would essentially treat viable seeds based on the potency levels of the plant they came from, even though the seeds themselves contain no traceable amount of any regulated compound. That would fundamentally change the way people across the country are able to access seeds, including people who are completely within their state’s laws to grow them.
