1. Starting the day or his arrival with a to-do list: If the first thing he hears is a rundown of problems or tasks, it can make him feel more like your personal assistant than your partner. 📌Try: Greet him with a hug, or just a kind word first. Let him feel that you’re happy to see him before jumping into logistics. 2. Normalized disrespect and sarcasm: Sometimes disrespect can creep into daily interactions, like sarcasm or speaking down to him. Over time, that really chips away at his confidence. Men respond really well to softness and respect. 📌Try: Make a conscious effort to speak gently and respectfully, even when you’re frustrated. A little extra respect goes a long way in making him feel loved. 3. Constant correction and criticism: If you find yourself correcting the way he does things all the time, it can make him feel like he can never do anything right or that he’s always falling short. 📌Try: Let go of the little things. If it’s not a big deal or a moral issue, let him handle things his way. It’s okay if he does things differently from you. 4. Lack of non-s*xual physical touch: Many men feel loved through physical touch, and not just in a s*xual way. If non-sexual physical affection is missing, he might feel unloved and undesired. 📌Try: Be intentional about small, affectionate gestures like a hug, holding his hand, or just a gentle touch on the shoulder as you pass by. 5. Lack of recognition and appreciation: Recognition is like flowers for men. If you appreciate his efforts but never actually say it, he may not realize how valued he is. 📌Try: Be intentional about expressing gratitude and recognition. Tell him how much you appreciate what he does. This kind of positive reinforcement can be powerful fuel for him to feel loved and motivated. ❤️ Proverbs 31:12 - "She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life." 📌Check out the LINK IN MY BIO to find my 28-Day Purposeful Wife Challenge.. a faith-filled roadmap to becoming the woman God calls you to be and creating the space for your husband to become the man God calls him to be.
