📌Your husband’s sin does not cancel your responsibility to obey God. You are still accountable for your own words, attitude, and obedience. 1 Peter 3:1–2 📌Respect isn’t something you give only when he earns it. Biblical respect is not a reward for perfect behavior. Ephesians 5:33 📌Submission isn’t optional, and it isn’t weakness. It is a willing posture of honoring God’s design for marriage. Ephesians 5:22–24 📌A meek and gentle spirit can accomplish what constant pressure cannot. Control, criticism, and nagging rarely produce godly change. 1 Peter 3:3–4 📌Marriage is not only about what your husband can do for you. Christlike love seeks to serve, not simply to be served. Mark 10:45 📌You are not called to control your husband into becoming godly. You can encourage, pray, speak truth, and trust God with the work you cannot do. 1 Peter 3:1–2 📌Your tone matters. You can be right and still speak in a way that is harsh, disrespectful, or destructive. Proverbs 15:1 📌You need to examine your own heart too. It is easy to focus on everything he needs to change while ignoring pride, bitterness, resentment, or control in yourself. Matthew 7:3–5 The goal of marriage isn’t merely your happiness. God also uses marriage to sanctify you, expose selfishness, teach you to love sacrificially, and make you more like Christ. ❤️If something stirred in your heart while reading this, check out the LINK IN MY BIO for my 28-Day Purposeful Wife Challenge.
