📌 She controls and micromanages the household, making decisions and plans without consulting her husband. 📌She treats her husband like one of the kids and does not respect his authority. 📌Even when her husband steps up to lead, she overrides him because she doesn’t trust his leadership. 📌She feels responsible for the spiritual direction and leadership of the family. 📌She becomes resentful toward her husband—blaming him for not leading the family, but also not getting out of the way for him to do so. Here’s the hard truth: if a husband won’t lead, he also has to bear the consequences of a family without direction. Too often, we wives step in and carry those consequences ourselves… a burden God never intended for us. That’s not His design. God’s order is clear: the husband is called to lead, and the wife is called to be his helpmate. When we step out of that alignment, the whole household feels the strain. You have to surrender your husband’s role back to him as an act of obedience to God. It’s about trusting God enough to step back and focus on being the godly wife He has called you to be. Because when you honor His design, you’ll find His peace, His order, and His blessing filling your home. Honestly, this is something I still have to work on. That’s why I created the 28-day Purposeful Wife Challenge… to help you refocus, release control, and rediscover the beauty of simply being the wife God called you to be. ❤️🩹 LINK IN BIO . . . #purposefulwife #christianwife #godlymarriage #godlywife #marriagecounselling
