One day, you’re holding them up with all your strength… and then one day, you realize they’re finally doing it on their own. 😭💙 2022, I was holding him up, trying to teach his little body how to take a step. 2026, I’m still right behind him… but this time, he’s the one walking. 🥹 Four years of therapy, repetition, prayers, tears, tiny wins, setbacks, and choosing to believe even when progress felt so far away. I used to carry so much of the weight for him. Now, my hands are slowly learning to let go not because he doesn’t need me anymore, but because he’s showing me just how much he can do. 🥹 To every parent waiting for a milestone that feels impossible: progress may not come according to the timeline you imagined. Sometimes it takes years. Sometimes it comes in the smallest movements. But please celebrate every little step. Because one day, that little step might become the moment you once only prayed for. 🙏🏻💙 Keep going, Zozo. Mama will always be right behind you…until the day you no longer need me to be. 🥹 2022 → 2026. From holding you up… to watching you move forward. 💙 #allforalonzo #cerebralpalsy #specialneedsmom
