I saw a mum on TikTok saying she’s spending £30+ a week on buses getting her kids to school. I helped her check whether she could be eligible for school transport through the Education Authority and thought I’d share this because there could be loads of parents paying for transport who don’t realise they should check. Kids have just gone back to school, so if you’re in Northern Ireland, check before you keep paying! 🚌 Generally, it’s 2 miles for under 11s and 3 miles for over 11s, but there are other rules around your school choices too. 👉 Check your eligibility here: https://transport.eani.org.uk/EligibilityChecker/ £30 a week = over £1,500 a year. Definitely worth checking! Save this and send it to another NI parent. 👇 #NorthernIreland #NIParents #SchoolTransport #EducationAuthority #BackToSchool
