I've stayed silent on Drumcree & Garvaghy Road because people immediately assume you're picking a side. I'm not. I understand why some see it as tradition and culture. I understand why others see it as community consent and respect. My frustration is that 29 years later we're still consumed by this debate while families are dealing with the cost of living, healthcare waiting lists, housing pressures and the economy. Maybe I'm wrong, but it feels like Northern Ireland keeps getting dragged back into the same arguments instead of focusing on the future.
