LOWELL HOUSE Harvard House Tour

A tour of my house, uh, house at Harvard. So when you're a sophomore, you get sorted into a house, kind of like Harry Potter. And that is the house that you live in until you graduate. And each one has like distinct features. This is our main courtyard. So people study here and they eat lunch sometimes. And we have hammocks. So when it's nice out, people can lay on it. And then there's more tables over there. Main courtyard. 2nd courtyard. So people play ping pong here. And then there's more hammocks and seating. And then there's more tables over there. And then this is like considered the quieter courtyard, the more peaceful one. And there's dorms all around here as well. It was a little bit cloudy today, so it doesn't look as beautiful, but imagine this guys during the sunset or like when it's nice out, it is the prettiest thing ever. And our bell tower actually rings every single Sunday and it changes colors. Then I just showed the dining hall and there's also a bunch of seminar rooms, like on the main ground floor. A lot of really great study places outside of the library. And then we go to the basement. And there's even more common spaces. So people can study here. This is our screening room. Mini Theater u can reserve. So we're one of the only houses with a screening room. So you can watch movies here and you can rent it out, people rent it out to like watch soccer games. And then there's like study spaces, more in depth. Music / art rooms in the basement. So down here in the basement, they have art and design rooms and they have studio labs, so students can come down here and they can play music and they can do whatever artistic things that people do. Laundry!! (not fully free) So we have laundry rooms. And we have two. So this is the main one. And then there's second. So technically we are paying for it. But we do have an activity speed. So technically we are paying for it. Made dead eye contact with the men there.. Squash turned basketball court. Made dead eye contact with the men there.. Dance studio. So we have a dance studio guys, which is not open because you have to reserve it. But we do have one. GYMMM. So many gyms. So it's obviously open 24 hours. And the actual Harvard gym that we have is like, sometimes open late on the weekends. Um, that's why you can come here and wake up at 6 AM and get your workout in. Library (silent)
