It’s hard to look at videos of the hotel room I lived in during my addiction. People are quick to judge the mess, but they don’t understand what they’re looking at. This is the reality of addiction. Imagine using everything you had and still being so consumed by the need for more that you tear through everything around you searching for it. Nothing else matters in that moment. That’s the insanity of addiction. But there is a way out, and there is hope on the other side. We do recover! #addiction #awareness #MentalHealth #sober #recovery
