Why it worked

The video uses a highly relatable 'me vs. also me' meme format to justify a shopping haul, making the product demonstration feel like personal content rather than a traditional advertisement.

Summary

The creator showcases a haul of various activewear pieces from Muscle Republic, modeling them to show how they look on her body. The video is framed as a humorous reaction to a brand sale.

Structure

1Creator displays various activewear items
2Creator models the clothing pieces
3Creator poses in the outfits

Product placement

Muscle Republic (MSCR): (a) ACTS — the creator displays multiple items from the brand (jackets, sports bras, leggings, bodysuits) and models them on her body to demonstrate fit and style. Removing these items would remove the entire purpose of the video. (b) The brand name appears in the on-screen text as "MSCR".
