3D printing of a patient-specific aortic dissection model to investigate blood flow dynamics using MRI, with a particular focus on 4D Flow MRI sequences. The model will be reconstructed from medical imaging data and manufactured using the Formlabs Form 4L with the new Flexible 80A Resin V2. This project is part of the PhD research of a vascular surgeon, Florent LE BARS, and aims to improve our understanding of flow patterns within the true and false lumens of aortic dissections. As part of the project, we are supporting Samuel GUIGO from W.INN, the Centre de l’Innovation en Santé at CHU de Brest, to document and share the development of this innovative patient-specific 3D printing approach.
