Update on Saivlee…🥺 I honestly didn’t want to be making another update tonight, but here we are. After talking to her GI/surgery team earlier today and sending them pictures, they told me everything looked pretty normal for her button and to just keep a really close eye on it. They said if anything changed or got worse, to let them know. Well… something definitely changed. She has been actively bleeding around her button for over an hour now, and I’m at the point where my gut is telling me I need to take her back in. I know they told me earlier that it looked okay, but watching your child bleed from a brand-new surgical site for this long is just not something I can sit at home and be comfortable with. Maybe they’ll tell me it’s nothing and I’m worrying for no reason. I really hope that’s exactly what happens. But I would rather be the mom who took her in and got reassurance than the mom who stayed home because I was scared I was overreacting. So we’re heading back to the hospital.. I’m exhausted, I’m worried, and honestly I’m just ready for my baby to catch a break. She has been through SO much, and I hate seeing her go through one more thing.
