Let me show you how to make the most easy and delicious homemade baguettes made from only four ingredients Start by adding the flour, yeast and salt. Toss together and add the water. Stir together, if it seems a little dry then add another tablespoon of water. Use a spatula or bench scraper to lift the dough to the centre. Add a little olive oil to your plastic wrapper lid and cover for 30 minutes. Wet fingers and do four to five stretch and folds and cover for another 30 minutes. Do another five stretch and folds, cover and let sit on the counter for three to five hours to raise. This is developing the gluten strands and helping trap nice air bubbles. Be patient and release the dough onto a floured surface and then flour your hands. Cut the dough into three equal pieces. I want one and a half times this recipe so I ended up with four. Carefully twist each piece of dough and place on the pan. I like to use a perforated pan but you can also use a cookie sheet. Lightly cover with plastic wrap and let raise for 45 minutes while the oven preheats. Lightly dust with flour and score each loaf. Place in preheated oven and toss in a few ice cubes for steam. Remove when nice and crispy golden brown. Delicious eaten with butter or with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Enjoy!

EASY BAGUETTES!!🥖 INGREDIENTS: * 3 1/2 cups +1 tablespoon AP flour * 2 teaspoons instant yeast * 2 teaspoons kosher salt * 1 3/4 cup lukewarm DIRECTIONS: 1️⃣In large mixing bowl, place flour, yeast, and kosher salt. Lightly toss with a fork. Add lukewarm water and stir with fork or spatula until ingredients are well incorporated and a wet and sticky dough ball forms. If dough seems too dry, add another tablespoon or two of water. Use scraper to pull away dough from edge of bowl and place on top center. This helps ensure the ingredients are mixed well. Cover dough with lid or plastic wrap that has been rubbed with olive oil. 2️⃣After 30 minutes, wet fingers or spray with nonstick spray (so dough doesn’t stick to fingers) and do 4-5 stretch and folds. This helps form the gluten strands and traps nice gas bubbles. Re-cover dough for 30 minutes. Do 2nd set of stretch and folds (5). Cover and let dough rise for 3-5 hours on counter. Five is best if time allows. Dough will be wet and bubbly. 3️⃣ Preheat oven to 500°. Carefully release dough onto floured surface. Lightly sprinkle hands with flour over dough. Use bench, scraper or knife and cut into 3 pieces. Carefully twist each piece and place on baguette pan, or cookie sheet with parchment paper, being careful not to disturb the nice bubbles in the dough. Lightly cover with (or lightly damp towel) and let raise for 40-45 mins. 4️⃣Remove plastic wrap, lightly flour and score each baguette (scoring allows the baguettes to expand). Place pan or rack into preheated oven. Toss 3-5 large ice cubes into bottom of oven to create steam. Close door. Bake at 500° for 5 to 7 minutes and then turn down heat to 450° Bake for 23-25 minutes or until nice and golden brown. {{Great with soups, cut length wise for sandwiches, dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or with butter and jam}}ENJOY!! #baguette #bread #recipes #Foodie #deliciousfood
