It's been 20 years since the world lost Steve Irwin, the beloved Australian wildlife conservationist and TV star best known as The Crocodile Hunter. Irwin died on September 4, 2006, aged 44, after a stingray fatally injured him while he was filming a documentary in Queensland. Through his fearless approach to wildlife and infectious passion for conservation, Irwin inspired generations to care about animals and the natural world. Two decades on, his legacy lives on through his family, Australia Zoo and the millions of fans he inspired. 'Whatever you want to do in this world, it is achievable. The most important thing that I've found, that perhaps you could use, is be passionate and enthusiastic in the direction that you choose in life, and you'll be a winner.' #steveirwin #australia #news #celebrity #wildlife
