Brianna Anderson explores the body through dance and movement research, experimenting with balance, weight, coordination and physical connection. In Movement Research (2026), two performers move as if their bodies were temporarily becoming one interconnected structure. Their backs, arms and legs overlap while each dancer continuously adjusts to the weight and position of the other. Rather than following conventional dance steps, the movement develops through contact, counterbalance and shared momentum. A small shift from one performer forces the other to adapt, creating unusual shapes that seem to constantly assemble and dissolve. #art #artist #niche #dance #dancer
