Starting a business with @Shopify wasn’t the original plan. #ad But when the factory I planned to spend my career at closed…right before the whole world shut down in 2020, I didn’t know what to do. At the time, Woodshop Diaries was just a fun little hobby, but after I was laid off, I wondered if I could possibly turn it into a business? That’s when I discovered Shopify. Shopify made it so easy to set up an online store, connect it to the channels I was already posting on, and get started selling products that my audience was already asking for: digital building guides and woodworking plans. So while this was never the original plan, it turned out even better. Nothing makes my day more than seeing how my products have helped and inspired woodworkers all over the world. It’s incredibly humbling and I’m so grateful my original plans didn’t work out. Growing a business has been quite the journey, but it’s one I’m so glad I started with Shopify. #shopifypartner
