Why it worked

The video leverages a popular 'old wives' tale' regarding labor induction combined with a recognizable, high-energy pop culture element, creating a relatable and entertaining personal experiment.

Summary

A pregnant woman dances to the song 'Rasputin' in the video game Just Dance, hoping to induce labor. She shares her current medical progress on-screen while performing the game's choreography.

1Creator introduces the premise of dancing to induce labor
2Creator performs the Just Dance choreography for Rasputin
3Creator displays her current dilation and effacement status

Product placement

Just Dance (a video game series) — it ACTS as the medium for the physical activity shown on screen. Removing it would change the video because the specific game and song are the subject of the creator's experiment.
