Why don't you ever play with mods? I don't play with mods because for a long time, I wasn't actually physically able to get mods on what I played Minecraft on. Back in 2012-2013 when I finally started my Minecraft journey, you genuinely could not get mods on the Xbox 360 version of or any version of Minecraft on the console for that matter. But you know what we did back in middle school because we couldn't get mods on the console versions of Minecraft? And this is elite ball knowledge for all you in chat that know. Because you couldn't mod the console version of Minecraft, there was a small span in Xbox 360 history where people were making a killing off of selling Minecraft clones that were mods and copies of Minecraft mods on PC. And this is elite ball knowledge, there was a game called Castle Miner Z, which was literally a one-to-one Minecraft clone, except there were better mobs and you could have guns in the game. And this wasn't some game that was simply trying to make some success from the motion of Minecraft. This indie game was the most sold indie game of all time and sold almost 2 million copies. Because people on the console version of Minecraft couldn't go ahead and simply download mods. In fact, Castle Miner Z added copper ore to Minecraft like a full decade before they did it. And so that really opened up my eyes to the possibilities of what indie developers could do when Minecraft was simply just refusing to allow us to have mods on a console. But yeah, if your middle school wasn't talking about Castle Miner Z back in 2012, did you even go to a public American middle school?
