Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline was struck in northern Wisconsin, releasing an estimated 1.3 million gallons worth of natural gas liquids into the atmosphere. And in 2024, Enbridge’s Line 6 leaked nearly 70,000 gallons of crude oil in Wisconsin. Line 5 already faces major environmental concerns because it crosses the Great Lakes region and runs beneath the Straits of Mackinac. We need to protect our water, our communities, and our future.
