Organic apple juice can be a decent source of vitamin C, potassium and plant polyphenols, particularly when it’s minimally processed. Apples contain antioxidant compounds such as quercetin, catechins and chlorogenic acid, which can help protect cells from oxidative stress. Potassium supports normal muscle function, nerve signalling and fluid balance. Apple juice also contains naturally occurring carbohydrates, mainly fructose and glucose, which provide readily available energy. The organic part mainly means the apples are grown under organic farming standards, generally restricting synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. It doesn’t make the juice dramatically more nutritious than conventional apple juice, though some people prefer it because of the farming practices. If the juice is cloudy/unfiltered, it can retain more of the apple’s naturally occurring plant compounds than highly filtered clear juice. The main catch is that juicing removes most of the apple’s fibre, so whole apples are substantially better for fullness, digestion and blood-sugar control. #applejuice #funny #sidehustle #britishtiktok #fyp
