Simon Squibb's $1 Million Business Competition
Stan | Linksite
Why it worked
The video uses a compelling narrative hook of a young person with a lost dream, combined with a generous offer of money and a business competition, to create an emotionally resonant and aspirational message. The direct call to action and the promise of a significant prize incentivize engagement.
Summary
A man interviews a young server, asking about his dreams. The server reveals his dream is to play basketball, but he believes he's lost his talent. The interviewer offers him €1,000 and a chance to win $1 million in a business competition if he promises to play basketball for 100 days and make a video about it.
Structure
- 1Interviewer asks about dreams
- 2Server reveals dream is basketball but he lost talent
- 3Interviewer offers money and a business competition entry
