Y'all are calling Beyoncé tone deaf because of a $900 box. But I think some of y'all are confusing being a fan to having a membership to her wallet. Beyoncé is selling a limited edition wooden box. Only 500 exist and it costs over $900. And folks are big mad. They say, who can afford that? Baby, somebody can. That's why she made 500 of them and not 5 million. And y'all act like everybody that listens to Beyoncé got the same kitchen table, same wallet. That's not true. Her fans, they span a variety of economic classes. Some can afford concert tickets. Some can afford a t-shirt. Some can afford a $900 box and then afford to see that $900 box online and just look and go, that's nice. Know your ministry. Because this is where y'all lose me. Y'all call this woman queen, praise her consistently, talk about all the time and money that she put into each and every one of her projects. Then you get mad when she put a premium price on something that she's selling as exclusive. Everything ain't for everybody. And being a fan of her does not guarantee you access to everything that she creates. And for you to expect somebody to make their work affordable specifically for you, that's not appreciation, that's entitlement. And I'm gonna side with the queen on this one.
