I swear to you this house has been the gift that keeps on giving. In 2023 I bought the house and I was really just looking for an investment. I had finished up my condo and I wanted to do a bigger project and frankly I was sick of taking my dog out on bitter Chicago winters. So I was like let me buy a house and I did. It had this empty and my dad and I decided that we were going to add a bedroom and a bathroom. And if you saw my last video you know that that did not turn out as planned. In fact, it was quite literally my personal nightmare. But I feel very, very lucky that eventually I did finish the attic because I had a ton of support from my friends and family and a lot of really talented professionals. And on top of that I got to spend hundreds of hours with my dad as an adult, which I think is pretty rare and I am so grateful for. Because sometimes I have regrets about the location I bought the house in, or wonder if this was really the right move as a single person. But it does feel like someone somewhere knew that he and I needed this time together because there were some unexpected things to come. And of course without this house, my dad and I wouldn't have started our silly little TikToks and I wouldn't have gotten some of the help that I got from social media to finish the second really his finish. Because I come from a long line of hustlers, I most recently turned this house into a new source of income for me, which I'm sharing all about that experiment here too if you're curious. You should follow along because this is certainly our story.
