Before ADHD homework, give the body a job before asking it to sit. This one does TWO things: helps with the transition to homework + gives the body movement prep before a seated task. Tell them to “drive” to homework: 🔹 Sit with legs out 🔹 Hold a ring like a steering wheel 🔹 Scoot ONE HIP at a time 🔹 Steer side to side 🔹 No hands You’re working pelvic weight shifting, trunk rotation, core control, bilateral coordination and motor planning while adding movement + proprioceptive input. Instead of “Go do your homework.” Try: “Drive to the table.” Save this + send it to an ADHD parent.
