This is the world's first spy pistol. This was the world's first spy pistol and its engineering made it the quietest pistol in history. It's called the Welrod, designed in 1942 by British Major Hugh Reeves. It looks exactly like a bicycle pump with no manufacturer or identifying features. It has a plain metal tube and a built-in suppressor to reduce the firing noise to a muffled finger snap. This feature made it the quietest suppressed weapon of World War II. British agents used it to silently eliminate sentries and high value targets across occupied Europe. And the most surprising part of the story is that this spy pistol was considered that nobody can officially confirm whether or not it is still in use today.
