Dyson built an air purifier inspired by jet engines. And it cost $349. It uses a star shaped nozzle instead of Dyson's ring design to push out air. This nozzle reduces turbulence making the airflow both quieter and stronger at the same time. It removes 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns and its filter lasts up to five years. It also runs on a night mode dropping down to just 24dB quieter than a library and the wild part? This single nozzle took Dyson over 30 years of airflow research to design.
