And I’m actually really proud of that. Social media has a funny way of making us think that if a business doesn’t explode overnight, we’ve somehow failed. But most businesses aren’t overnight successes. They’re built slowly. One customer, one recommendation, one good month and sometimes one absolutely rubbish month at a time. There isn’t actually a magic number of months or years when a new business becomes “successful”. For me, success right now isn’t £400k. It’s getting the bills paid. It’s filling another space in a class. It’s someone trusting me enough to become their PT. It’s seeing the same faces walk back through my door. I’m literally on day ONE. So instead of comparing my first day to somebody else’s viral success story, I’m going to celebrate my 3 sign-ups, my 4 enquiries and my 70%.
