6 months ago my nervous system was ruined. I was depressed. I was so anxious I couldn’t leave the house to do a food shop. I didn’t wake up one morning healed. I didn’t completely reinvent my life. I started really, really small. I began turning ordinary parts of my morning into little rituals and somewhere along the way, my mornings stopped feeling like something I just had to survive and now I actually go to bed excited to wake up the next day. ✨ What would she do? When you’re lacking motivation, ask yourself “What can I do to help the future me?” 🧹 I make sure my environment is clean and tidy ☕ I set my intention for the day and stir it into my morning drink 🪄 I open the windows to reset the energy in my home and clear out stagnant energy 💫 I light a Incense while I get ready to cleanse myself and my home of any stagnant energy 🪴 I step outside, I only have a balcony but I’ve made that into a herb garden I love and nuture VS never stepping foot outside onto it. 🍂 Notice the season and actually pay attention to the world around you ✨ I decided not to start my day with other peoples opinions and my phone is on do not disturb for at least an hour after I wake up. None of these things are huge but once I started stacking them on top of each other, that’s when the real magic happened. For me, healing my nervous system has really been about becoming present in my life again. Taking things I already do and making them intentional. Slowing down enough to notice the tiny beautiful things. Creating little moments that remind me that my life isn’t just appointments, responsibilities, washing piles and getting through another day. And sometimes, the magic is literally just drinking your coffee by an open window and deciding today gets to be a good day. 🌿✨ You don’t need to completely change your life. Start by making your morning feel a little more magical. 🤎 Save this for tomorrow morning ✨
