Turning Our Yard Into a State Park Pt. 3 🌿 The more we work on this little acre, the more inspired I feel to learn more about our land… 🍃What should be growing here? 🐇What does wildlife need from it? 🌳How we can make this little piece of Appalachia better than we found it? I’m learning all of this as I go, but one of the biggest things I’ve discovered is how important native plants are. If you want to start doing this in your own yard, research which plants are native to your region, look for local native plant nurseries, and start with one small area.
