My eye is twitching. So obviously let's start with girl because that's what I have. When your first child is a girl, you are forced karmically to confront how your own mother raised you. And I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't believe this to be true until I had a girl and I was like, oh my god, that makes sense. Most of the time, you will choose the opposite path. You will choose to parent her in a maternal way that is the complete opposite of the way you were raised. She also brings to light a lot of things that you didn't know you were carrying as far as baggage, as far as emotions, as far as just the way you wanted to be treated but never received. You will give all of that to her. It will also force you to confront your more feminine side. If you're leaning a little bit more masculine, you're stronger, you have all of those things going on, you'll find yourself becoming way more feminine. By the way, I can attest to all of that. Now on the flip side, if your first child is a boy, karmically, if you have some type of father wound or masculine wound, usually your first child will be a male. Again, this forces you to confront all of the masculine issues that you have, whether that be love, whether that be abandonment. Basically, you're relearning to love without any partnership aspect to it. And in turn, you raise the son that turns to the man you want to see in the world. More or less the complete opposite of every male you've previously had in your life. All in all, a daughter will turn their attention inward into what kind of mother do I want to be? How can I change the way that I was mothered? Whereas having a male will push you outwards. What kind of male do I want to see in this world? How do I wish that male was raised? Or raised? Basically, the complete opposite of every male you've previously had in your life.
