Even chaos gets tidied up in Ursus Wehrli’s world. 🧹 In The Art of Clean Up, the Swiss artist and comedian rearranges everyday scenes and objects by color, size, direction or function. Familiar things become surprisingly unfamiliar once everything has been sorted into its proper place. He brings the same playful logic to Tidying Up Art, dismantling famous compositions and reorganizing their figures, shapes and colors into neat rows and groups. The ingredients remain, but the picture they once created disappears. That is where the joke lands. Everything may be perfectly organized, yet something essential has been lost. Wehrli turns the simple act of tidying into a clever question about our appetite for order: does making something neater always make it better? Artist: @ursuswehrli #art #creativity #artist
