Some facts about German shepherds from a German shepherd owner

Hi, I wanted to make a video on some of the things that you can't read about German Shepherds, like, before you get one, you're not gonna find this information anywhere, okay? Trust me, because I looked and I didn't find any of it. Um, so the first one, they're fussy eaters. Not all of them probably, but from what I've heard through TikTok and on my videos, they are extremely fussy eaters. Um, this boy, he will reject treats right and centre. If we go to a cafe and someone, you know, gives him, like, a biscuit, he will spit it out and he's like, I don't know. I don't know. And he also won't eat his own food, like ever. I have to, like, make it nice. I put Greek yogurt on his food, otherwise he won't eat it. And we've tried him on so many foods. We tried him on raw. He doesn't want raw. I mean, what? What kind of dog doesn't want raw food anyway? Um, another one is, stay, it's okay. I know I know I know I'm noisy, I know. I'm trying to sleep, woman. Oh, your brother. Oh, that's another that breath. I'm joking. Um, next one is how vocal they are. So this boy, my god, if he's excited, he will let you know. If I say, um, he will literally scream, he, if you go through, you'll probably find a few videos of him screaming because he's so excited to go on a walk. Um, he also, like, if we go, if we drive somewhere, he would just scream in the car, like, the whole journey, especially when we're getting closer, it will get louder. Um, so that's something that I didn't know before I bought one. Um, what else? They. I will say they are actually kind of dumb. Like, I know that they use as police and they're very trainable. Don't get me wrong, they learn stuff really quickly, but he, at the moment, he just runs into stuff. He doesn't use his brain. I don't know. He's kinda clumsy. Like, I would say that is a German Shepherd thing. Um, also the attachment issues. I mean, you can read up on that, but, boy, he gets attached. Like, we did a lot of training with him as a puppy. We sort of, we'd leave him in the house on his own for hours, not those hours, like three hours, like to get being on his own, he's in a really deep sleep right now. Um, but one thing that didn't really work with him is if we take him somewhere new and we park up and then we leave, if we walk away from the car, he will just be screaming. And then I have to say to them like, oh, sorry, that's my dog. And it's not a great look, is it? So, yeah, that's another thing. Um, also, the basic, they do malt. Um, they do need a lot of exercise. Trying to think what else. I mean, they're great dogs. Like, if you're thinking about getting one, do it.
