Why it worked

The video leverages the high-interest, speculative nature of a 'foldable iPhone' to capture viewer attention, using a polished, realistic-looking interface to make the concept feel tangible.

Summary

The creator provides a hands-on demonstration of a speculative foldable smartphone called the iPhone Duo, highlighting its display quality, in-display camera, and multitasking capabilities. The video focuses on the device's hardware and software features within a simulated Apple ecosystem.

Structure

1Introduction to the foldable device
2Examination of the display and crease
3Demonstration of the in-display camera via FaceTime
4Overview of the multitasking interface

Product placement

iPhone Duo: (a) ACTS — the creator operates the interface, demonstrates the foldable display, shows the in-display camera, and navigates the iOS 27 home screen. Removing it would leave the video with no content. Apple: (b) APPEARS — mentioned as the manufacturer of the device and the OS. Removing it would not change the video's core demonstration. FaceTime: (a) ACTS — the creator opens the app to demonstrate the in-display camera. Removing it would remove the proof of the camera's integration.

And you some of the standby features? That is another thing. Let's look at the display itself. You can barely at different angles see a subtle crease, but this is using a specific Apple nano-texture coating display. The inner display is matte, all right? I'm going to try and show you, maybe you can catch it, but it is a very, it's hard to even say it's a crease at many angles, it doesn't look that way. It is matte. And then if we also pay attention over here, I'm going to try and get it to catch the light. That's where the Face ID camera is. So let's open it up here, right? Here's iOS 27 made for the iPhone Duo. You actually see the bar here with your apps is over here on the side. I'm going to open up the FaceTime app because it will reveal itself when you need it to. There's the FaceTime camera that's showing. Let's get out of this app and it's going to go away. So there is an in-display camera, no physical pinhole. It's all seamlessly integrated into that. Now the other thing I want to show you, and this is the first time I've been holding it, is let's talk about the fact you can use multiple apps. So we have the home screen here.
