This started as a flat stack of cardboard and four cheap servo motors — and now he stands, poses, and swings a sword. No 3D printer, no laser cutter, no expensive kit. Just cardboard, hot glue, a handful of servos, and way too much trial and error. 🤖⚙️ Here's the thing about builds like this: the hard part was never the electronics. Four servos wired up is a weekend project for anyone. The real challenge — and honestly the fun part — was figuring out how to turn flat cardboard into joints that actually hold a pose. Shoulder hinges that don't collapse under their own weight. A neck joint that turns without snapping. A hand that can grip something small without falling apart after five tries. That's the part nobody shows you in a 30-second clip, and it's the part that actually teaches you something. Every failed joint taught me more about mechanical design than any tutorial could. You start understanding leverage, load, and why real robots use the shapes they do — because you just spent an hour finding out the hard way what doesn't work. Grab some cardboard from your recycling bin, a hot glue gun, and whatever servos you've got. Start small: one moving joint. Get that working before you add the next one.
