12 years ago today we chose to “stay married” on Married At First Sight & we could finally stop hiding our relationship bc it aired on tv👰🤵🏼‍♂️ Now we have a sweet 9 year old girl, a rambunctious & fun 6 year old boy & the cutest twin boys who are one!🥰 I wasn’t certain that it’d work out (if you saw our season of MAFS then you know that.🤪) But I really WANTED it to work & I was willing to put in the work if he was too..🙏 I desperately wanted true love and a family. I really wanted “my person” to build a life with and be genuinely happy with. It didn’t happen over night, but slowly he did become my person and we began building our life together.🙏 Therapy (for both of us!) was key. Going to church together was another very important factor for us. Another important thing we learned was to forgive and let go of the small things. We also learned to keep our family out of our problems bc inevitably they’re biased to one side (whether they like to admit it or not) … they also like to remember the problem well after we’ve hashed it out.🤪😅 Who knew going on a crazy reality tv show could really become the beginning of our own little fairy tale.🥹🙏❤️ If you’re still hoping to find love, give the nice guy a chance. Trust me, attraction can definitely grow.🫶
