My first Philly cheesesteak…in Philly. 📍- @angelos_pizzeria_south_philly And I fear I’ve made a terrible mistake because now I know what these are supposed to taste like, and I’m not sure I can ever look at another cheesesteak the same way.😂 Of course, we also somehow ended up eating it on a stranger’s stoop-because apparently two girls, a 20-inch pizza and a Philly cheesesteak needed to take over someone’s front steps for lunch. Then the man came home. And instead of looking at us like we had completely lost our minds, he offered us his table to sit at and his garbage can for when we were finished. That kind of random kindness feels pretty damn unheard of these days. I think I was so shocked by how genuinely friendly he was that I forgot the most obvious thing: I should’ve offered him a slice. So yes, the cheesesteak was kind of life changing. But honestly, I think the unexpected kindness might’ve been my favorite part. Philly, I kind of love ya. 🥖🧀🥩🍕 @Angelo’s Pizzeria South Philly
