@bajasharkeez started with a little bit of a plot twist. Before there was Sharkeez, there was the Red Onion. When that chapter came to an end, father and son Ron & Greg Newman found themselves at a crossroads. So they took a trip, found some inspiration, and came home with a whole new vision. That trip sparked the idea for what would become Baja Sharkeez bringing that laid back, beach town energy made for the South Bay. And the story didn’t stop there. From Baja Sharkeez to Tower 12, Palmilla, Esperanza, and Sand Bar, the family continued building a collection of places that have become part of the South Bay’s dining and nightlife story. What started as a new path became a legacy of its own. And now, they’re looking toward the future while bringing all of that experience back to where it started. For those of us who have always known Sharkeez as a place for the night, there’s a new reason to stop in during the day…the food. The team poured years of experience and more than 33 tasting sessions into creating a new menu, bringing together everything they’ve learned from decades in the restaurant business and putting a whole new focus on what’s coming out of the kitchen. So if you remember Sharkeez for the nightlife but these days prefer to be home before 8… 😉 consider this your reason to come back. Come for lunch. Come for dinner. Come try the new menu. The new menu drops on September 15th. Save this post, make a plan, and come taste what they’ve been working on.
