Things that have genuinely changed my life. Part I've First one is not having a TikTok/podcast playing at all times. Not using my phone, like having TikTok or a video playing at all times. I would be like brushing my teeth and I'd have a TikTok playing. I've tried to be really intentional with not doing that. Not just be scrolling and having something playing all the time. Being bored and not having constant stimulation is our brains. Second one is blow-drying my hair the day before an event. I find that sometimes, especially with my like blowouts that I do home, the second day always looks better for me. If I do it on the day of the event, sometimes I get like a frizz. It's probably just because I'm not doing it right. But I've learned that doing my hair the day before allows me to suss how it looks and then the day of the event, I can just add a bit of volume, add a bit of curl. Third, we finally also bought multiple laundry baskets and this is such a hack and it's ridiculous hack, but I love it. So we keep a laundry basket in our laundry, we keep one in our closet, like in our wardrobe. So when we change and it's dirty, I can just chuck it in the dirty laundry basket and the one in the laundry basket is our clean laundry basket. And they just rotate. And oh my god, I don't know why I didn't do this earlier. I'm just lazy. That's why. So I just didn't think it would really help. But not having to go back and forth with one laundry basket, such a hack. Fourth, I have a little section in my fridge that's like the eat me first section. And it's in my brain, I put it on this shelf. Like once they're on that shelf, we know it's time to eat them soon or it's going to go bad soon. And you're not just like absent-mindedly looking in the fridge. You know where to reach. Fourth, I have a notes page, like on my notes app called Life Admin. And it's like all my important things that have saved my life. For example, passwords to things that I don't very often check for, like Ticketmaster. Stuff that like will annoy me when I'll forget it. I also put like dates and reminders of when I need to renew things, cancel things, my car registration. Even though a lot of the time I'll get notifications or I'll get letters in the mail. Having all in one spot when I check it for something else and I'm going through it, it literally sparks a reminder. Like, oh, cool. Okay, I have to do this again soon. Fifth, I have decorated my own cutie little recipe book where I write down all of my favorite recipes that I know are game changer for me. And I write them down and decorate the page. One, it's fun to create. Two, it means that when I am making and baking something, my sticky little hands aren't all over my phone or my laptop. I just have the page open of what I need and I can keep referring back to it. It's also nice because I like to film cooking and baking sometimes. It's really handy to have it written out rather than to have to check my phone. Sixth is wearing a skin tint instead of foundation. Of any sort. I just hate foundation. It makes my skin feel disgusting. And so for a while I was just using concealer, but I liked that feeling better. But recently I've discovered a really like the Mecca of duty skin tint called game changer. It makes me look like I'm wearing foundation because it like makes my face the same color. But it gives me nowhere near that same icky feeling that I get on my face. And another girls loved it. They messaged me and said they loved it as well. So it's just product. Sixth, skin tint greater than foundation. I recommended in another video and I had so many girls message me and say they loved it as well. So it's just product.
