We started out with k19 as usual to protect her hair and a preliminary cut to get rid some of the dryer ends For this I did pinwheel sectioning and were going for a warm blond, more of a copper red and her natural color Her red formula was 6c and 6n in R+Co permanent line with some 11.1 to help with the lift since she’s kinda dark and I wanted it to be vibrant, I did 30 vol with that. For her natural I didn’t show but I did a 6n with 10vol and then I got to foiling her. It took a little longer because I was picking out her darker ends to lift those lighter and then used a clay lightener on her already blond bits to get them just a smidgen lights I needed to fill in those blond ends a bit so they wouldn’t be so hollow when I applied the black and copper sections. for the black sections I glossed them with 7c and 6r from morrocan and the copper sections I glossed with just 7c and I sprayed them down before glossing with water To tone the blond I did an overall gloss with R+Co 10pn and 9g and then 9pn and 9g at the root. We finished off with her haircut and blowout off camera. Very long day but the take down was so worth it! #bouncyblowout #calicohair #layeredhaircut @milkhoneysoul
