Things I’m 3D Printing for My Classroom: Pencil Fidgets. Honestly, this might be my favorite fidget experiment yet! I printed these pencil toppers to give students a quiet, minimal outlet to keep their hands busy. The best part? Because the fidget is attached right to the pencil, they already have their writing utensil in hand. Transitioning from fidgeting to writing takes zero extra setup or distraction. We’re two weeks in, and it’s been a total game-changer for keeping focus high and classroom noise low. Plus, it motivated them to not lose their pencils. I also just used some leftover filament making this a very cheap alternative to other fidgets. For my fellow printers: this file is called “SPINPOP KIDS EDITION IL FIDGET TOY PIÙ DIVERTENTE” by Zeno’s on MakerWorld. There are two sizes for the two end cap pieces - one for a pencil and one for BIC pens. The pen size may work best on some pencils due to the larger size. #3dprinting #3dprintedclassroom #makerworld #funclassroomideas
